CurbSofa exists to close that gap. We built a simple map where anyone can post a free item left on the curb, and anyone nearby can find it. No money. No negotiations. Just community.

CurbSofa is a web app where you can browse a real-time map of free items left on the curb near you. You can also post items you're giving away — your old sofa, a bookshelf, electronics that still work — so your neighbors can find them before the garbage truck does.
Everything is first come, first served. No reservations, no commitments. Just show up and take it home.
